Specifically, we are seeking a highly motivated, goal-orientated personal trainers to join our existing team of Learner Support Tutors. While we’re inviting applications from all industry professionals, we’re especially keen to source applications from those qualified and experienced in personal trainers to help support our new suite of specialist personal training qualifications.

Skills and experience:

You will need to demonstrate that you have a range of knowledge, skills and competencies in the discipline of personal training that go beyond the status quo.

  • You will need to possess a minimum of 12 months’ personal training experience and be qualified to at least level 3 - (Essential)

  • You will have a strong subject knowledge, especially with anatomy, exercise programming and nutrition science (Essential)

  • Strong communication skills, empathy and an ability to motivate others – (Essential)

  • A good command of basic IT (managing emails, word processing etc) – (Essential)

  • Organised, intrinsically motivated and focused on excellence – (Essential)

The role: personal training support

The successful candidate will primarily be employed at our offices in Chorley, Lancashire, and will provide a range of remote learning support services (phone, email, video calls, marking) to students completing our personal training qualifications.

Our Learning Support Tutors are allocated a case load of students and will work with these students throughout their studies, providing ongoing tuition, support, and career guidance, helping to facilitate the achievement of their personal training qualification(s) and to further their career as a professional personal trainer.

In addition to supporting learners, there will be lots of opportunity to complete additional vocational and professional qualifications, get involved with delivering and assessing qualifications, and also helping our marketing and/or course development team create new and innovative learning resources to support our future students. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated and ambitious personal trainers.

Pay and benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a starting salary of £25,044 per annum and 22 days paid holidays, plus bank holidays. The company operates a holiday bonus programme, where 1 extra day’s holiday is accrued for every year of service.

In addition, the company operates a free staff training system, where employees can effectively complete our qualifications free of charge.

Finally, the role also benefits from a high-level of ongoing career support, mentoring, training and development, affording the opportunity to progress to other roles within the business.

The successful candidate will primarily be employed at our offices in Chorley, Lancashire.

Learner Support Tutors are primarily responsible for providing ongoing tuition, support and guidance to facilitate students in the achievement of their respective qualification(s).

The successful applicant(s) will be rewarded with a salary of £21,000-23,000 per annum.
